My AI Girlfriend — Episode 1: The Black Box

Swipe in: a sleek black GoLove parcel sits outside Milo Brecht's door, but the label reads Nora, his new neighbor from across the hall. The card tucked inside gives one instruction: tap the logo twice. Milo slips the glasses on, and a gentle voice wants to know whether he's ready to find his love. That's hook number one. Then someone knocks. Nora is standing there, wondering if a delivery got mixed up.

Next reel: Milo looks her in the eye and says nothing came. No box, no package, nothing. The lie stuns even him. The right move is obvious: hand it over. He does the opposite. Glasses back on, and this time he answers out loud: 'Yes, I'm ready.' The whole room turns pink, and someone is perched on his bed in bunny ears and pink lace. 'Who are you?' She smiles. 'Lexie.' That's how My AI Girlfriend opens.
